BASEBALL DIVISIONS

LOWER DIVISIONS - Non-Competitive/Instruction based - developmental playing divisions with a focus on core skill development.

T-BALL (4YR - 6YR)
- Beginner/Entry level baseball for young players
- Hits off Tee at all times
- All players play defense each inning
- Continuous batting order utilized
- All players bat during the inning
- Score is not kept/no standings
- Gain an understanding of the fundamental rules of baseball
- All games are in-house, 3 innings (approximately 90 minutes)

ROOKIE (6YR - 8YR)
- Games will be a combination of coach pitch and player pitch to ease introduction to Minors.
- Continuous batting order utilized
- 9 players play defense each inning
- 3 outs / 5 runs per inning
- Games are in house and interleague, 6 innings

UPPER DIVISIONS - Competitive baseball divisions that are officiated by an umpire where game scores are kept.  All players at these levels are selected to teams via evaluations and drafting.

MINORS (9YR - 10YR)
- Introduction into Competitive baseball/Instruction based
- Player pitch
- Umpire(s) assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- 9 players play defense each inning
- Must attend one evaluation date
- 46 ft Pitching Distance / 60 ft Base Path Distance
- Players league age 8 may request to be evaluated for playing up into Minors. Players requesting to play up must attend evaluations and receive board approval.

-10u Jr Diamond league team will be selected on a tryout basis and will require additional fees and commitment level. 

Jr Diamond will be a 14-16 game regular season with league playoffs. This team will play two tournaments and be eligible for 10u Cal Ripken tournament trail team.

MAJOR 70(11YR - 12YR)
- Competitive/Instruction Play
- Umpire(s) assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- Must attend one evaluation date
- Full baseball rules (lead-off/steal, pick-off)
- 50 ft Pitching Distance / 70 ft Base Path Distance
- Players league age 10 may request to be evaluated for playing up into Majors. Players requesting to play up must attend evaluations and receive board approval.

-12u Diamond League team will be selected on a tryout basis and require additional fees and commitment level.

Diamond League will be a 18 game regular season with league playoffs. This team will play two tournaments and be eligible for the 12u Cal Ripken tournament trail team.

LEGION and BABE RUTH (13YR-19YR)
- Teams will be divided into bracketed age levels depending on # of sign-ups
- Competitive/Instruction Play
- Umpire(s) assigned
- Full baseball rules
- 60 ft Pitching Distance / 90 ft Base Path Distance
- These programs will start practice May. Seasons will start mid to end of May.

-Legion teams will be selected based on a tryout basis and will require additional fees and commitment level.

SOFTBALL DIVISONS

LOWER DIVISIONS - Non-Competitive/Instruction based - developmental playing divisions with a focus on core skill development.

8U COACH PITCH (6YR - 8YR)

- Coaches pitch to batters. Transition to kid pitch
- Score is not kept (except for run rule)/no standings 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- 9/10 players play defense each inning
- 3 outs / 5 runs per inning
- Mixture of in-house and inter-league games

UPPER DIVISIONS - Competitive softball divisions that are officiated by an umpire where game scores are kept.

10U (8YR - 10YR)
- Introduction into Competitive baseball/Instruction based
- Player pitch
- Umpire(s) & scorekeeper assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- 9 players play defense each inning
- Must attend one evaluation date

12U (10YR - 12YR)
- Competitive/Instruction Play
- Umpire(s) & scorekeeper assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- Must attend one evaluation date

16U (13YR - 16YR)
- Season Begins in May (Summer Season)
- Competitive/Instruction Play
- Umpire(s) & scorekeeper assigned
- Scoring and Pitch Cards maintained 
- Continuous batting order utilized
- Must attend one try-out date
